This is due to the extremely difficult route that runs through climatic zones with extreme conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The race is held once every four years, from November to February. During the regatta, participants must follow the path of the so-called woolen skippers of the 19th century and cross the Atlantic, Pacific and Indian oceans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As one of the participants of the regatta, the skipper of the yacht Occitane en Provence Armel Trypon, notes, you need to be a little crazy to decide on such a difficult trip around the world, and even alone. However, for many yachtsmen, the Vend\u00e9e Globe race is a lifelong dream. The last Vend\u00e9e Globe record was set four years ago by French yachtsman Armel Le Cl\u00e9ache.
