Nanny Cay is a resort marina on the south coast of Tortola, about 2 miles from Road Town and roughly 20 minutes by car from Terrance B. Lettsome Airport on Beef Island. It combines inner and outer basins, superyacht berths for boats up to about 140 ft, a hotel, a boatyard, a chandlery and restaurants, with water and power at every slip and fuel docks in both basins. Several charter companies operate from here, and the protected Sir Francis Drake Channel starts right outside. Typical itineraries take in Norman Island and the Indians, Cooper and Peter Islands, Jost Van Dyke, and The Baths and North Sound on Virgin Gorda. Inter-island hops are short, which makes the area well suited to first-time charterers.
