Royal Phuket Marina is on Phuket’s east coast at Koh Kaew, about 20 minutes from the airport, with central Phuket within easy reach. It combines 100 wet berths for boats up to 35 m with a covered dry stack, a hardstand, waterfront villas and condominiums, restaurants, a café and an event pavilion. The inner channel has been dredged for 24-hour access at all tides for yachts up to 35 m. The marina also has a fuel dock, 24/7 security, showers, underground parking and a 50-ton travel hoist. Many day-charter and tour operators depart from here, and the marina promotes direct access to Phang Nga Bay, James Bond Island and Phi Phi. Its size suits motor yachts, catamarans and speedboats more than large superyachts.
