Tel Aviv Marina is a compact city-centre harbour on the seafront, opposite Atarim Square and next to Gordon Beach and the Gordon pool. The hotel strip, the promenade, and the restaurants and nightlife of central Tel Aviv are all within walking distance. It opened in 1976 and has six piers with about 320 berths for boats up to 20 m.
The marina is a hub for local sailing: sea scouts, a racing club, sailing and diving schools, kayak and windsurf rental, and an adaptive sailing club for people with disabilities. Charter companies run two-hour skippered yacht trips, sunset cruises past the skyline, catamaran group outings and private events.
Foreign yachts must clear in at Herzliya first, about 6 nautical miles north. Guest berths are limited, and the entrance is difficult in strong onshore winds.
