AB Yachts launches 36.8m AB120

Italian shipyard AB Yachts has announced the launching of the 36.8-meter AB120 motor yacht. The vessel reflects Next Yacht Group's new strategy of building a fleet focusing on using advanced technology and unique solutions.
The creators call the new yacht “a combination of technology and innovative materials, state-of-the-art construction methods, sporty character and pure sensuality”.
The AB120 features a spacious 100 square meter retractable stern capable of forming a large beach area. It can be integrated with the cockpit and the main saloon, combining interior and exterior space.
The yacht also has a large amount of glazing - the main salon is filled with natural light through the use of more than 500 square feet of transparent surfaces.
AB120 is equipped with furniture from Flexform - warm colors and natural shades prevail in the interiors. Inside the yacht can accommodate up to 10 guests in four cabins, as well as six crew members. The owner of the yacht has a gym, a bar and an open-air cinema at his service.
The manufacturer notes that, with a draft of about 1.35 meters, the yacht can call at the most exclusive ports and harbors. The maximum speed of the vessel is over 45 knots.
The weekly charter rate for a yacht from Northrop and Johnson will be from $680 thousand. (more…)
