Nautor's Swan

Shipyard Nautor's Swan was founded in Finland and was originally called Oy Nautor Ab. In 1966, the founder of the shipyard, Pekka Koskenkila, built his first 10 meter fiberglass yacht, the Swan 36. The yacht was designed by the American company Sparkman & Stephers and became a real hit. A total of 90 cases were sold and such success was a surprise even for the creators. The following models of the shipyard were also successful: in the late 60s, the Swan 43 yacht was launched, and later the shipyard introduced the Swan 55.

Popularity of yachts Nautor's Swan grew due to the high quality of materials, the art of Finnish workers and thanks to sports achievements. A striking episode was the victory of the yacht Swan 65 (Saula II) in the round-the-world Whitbread race in 1973-1974.

Today, the company's model range includes a wide variety of yachts, from the twelve-meter Swan 36 to the ambitious Swan 131 project. The main idea that the shipyard puts into each yacht is the combination of the comfort of a cruising yacht and the speed characteristics of a racing boat.

The Swan Yacht Owners Cup is held annually in the prestigious Italian resort of Porto Cervo, Sardinia.
