Tourists in Turkey were allowed not to observe the curfew

Foreign tourists who arrive in the Republic of Turkey on vacation are exempted from observing the curfew introduced in the state on November 21.

Due to the worsening epidemiological situation, the Turkish government decided to tighten quarantine measures and imposed a curfew on November 21. It will operate on weekends from 8 pm to 10 am.

The Ministry of Tourism reports that foreign guests are exempted from observing the curfew and at this time they can travel around the cities by car, subject to the availability of a document confirming the reservation of the vehicle.

Restaurants and cafes at hotels will operate as usual, but serve exclusively guests. Catering establishments at airports will also remain open. Yachts and cruise ships will not be able to offer drinks and food to guests.

Over the past 24 hours, more than 5,000 people infected with the Chinese virus have been recorded in Turkey. In this regard, the authorities have tightened quarantine measures. In particular, the country closed access to attractions and cinemas. Restaurants and cafes work in the delivery format.
