Italian Sea Group sells first hybrid 53m yacht Panorama

The power plant of the yacht is based on a pair of MAN diesel engines and a pair of electric motors.

The Italian Sea Group has announced the sale of its first 53-meter Panorama equipped with hybrid propulsion. It is the Admiral 499 GT, the third in the line.

The buyer of the yacht is a client from Mexico who will receive the vessel in December 2025. The Admiral 499 GT was developed as part of an environmental strategy and received an “e-Motion innovative hybrid propulsion system”.

The power plant of the yacht is based on a pair of MAN diesel engines and a pair of electric motors with permanent magnets and a set of lithium polymer batteries.

The yacht is capable of operating in hotel mode for up to eight hours, ensuring zero emissions and minimal noise and vibration. The vessel can also dock in “electric mode” without the use of engines and generators.

“The Panorama project, with its three sales, confirms the path through the “custom made” segment,” commented Giovanni Costantino, founder and CEO of TISG. “This superyacht is the first Admiral Panorama in a hybrid version, and this is the merit of our constant search for stability, ensuring the least possible sailing in the sea and in the atmosphere.”

The interiors of the yacht use natural materials - wood, stone and metals. Panorama can accommodate 12 guests thanks to the arrangement of five cabins on the lower deck and the owner's cabin on the main deck with panoramic views from the private terrace. The yacht's garage stores a 7.5m tender, two jet skis and other water toys.
